OSCILLATOR PRODUCTS
KS Electronics has the capabilities, experience and production technique to meet your exacting oscillator requirements. Some of the oscillators available in SMD packages.
TCXO VCXO
  • Up to 350 MHz in frequency.
  • >+15 dBm output into 50 ohms.
  • Freq. stability of +/- 1 ppm from -40 C to + 85 C.
  • Low power consumption 250 mW typical.
  • Low phase noise. Typical SSB phase noise is -140 dBc/Hz at 1 kHz offset. Excellent noise floor -165/Hz dBc min.
  • In house facility for the measurement of phase noise.
  • Typical volume 2.5 cubic inch max.
  • Typical aging of .5 ppm per. yr. max.
  • External adjustment of frequency available for 10 year aging.
  • Up to 350 MHz in frequency.
  • Crystal controlled stability over full military range.
  • Wide band tunning range +/- 2500 ppm pulling range with excellent temp. stability of +/- 5 ppm from -30 C to +85 C.
  • Linearity of +/- 2 % over the tunning range of V +/- 10 volts.
  • +Ve or -Ve tunning slope available.
  • Excellent short term stability and phase noise.
  • Low input power and small volume ( 2.5 cubic inch max).
  • External mechanical or electrical adjustment of frequency available.
DCXO VC-TCXO
  • Up to 350 MHz in frequency.
  • +/- .1 ppm stability over -40 C to + 85 C.
  • Low power consumption. (600 mW max.)
  • Excellent phase noise.
  • Aging is .5 ppm per yr. max.
  • External mechanical adjustment for frequency for 10 yrs. of aging.
  • This combines both TCXO and VCXO into one unit.
  • Up to 350 MHz .
  • Wide pull with excellent temperature stability.
  • Excellent short term stability and SSB phase noise.
OCXO VCO
  • We have standard OCXO at 10 MHz with second optional output at 5 MHz.
  • Excellent temp. stability. .02 ppm -10 C to +55 C, .05 ppm -55 C to +60 C
  • Input power less than .65 watt at -55 C. less than .55 watt at + 25 C.
  • Warm up time: less than 10 minutes for .002 ppm stability.
  • Excellent phase noise -100 dBc/Hz at 100 hz offset.
  • dBm +/- 3 dB into 50 ohms.
  • Electrical tuning available for external adjustment of frequency.
  • Up to 500 MHz
  • +16 dBm output into 50 ohms.
  • Excellent tunning linearity +/- 5 % max.
  • Temp. stability of 25 ppm/deg. C.
  • Low power consumption (400 mW typical ).
  • Harmonics/spurious : -10 dBc/-60 dBc.
  • Typical SSB phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset from carrier.
  • Full military temperature of -55 deg. C to + 105 deg. C.
  • Input voltage sensitivity of less than 2000 ppm per volt.
Crystal Filters L/C Filters
  • Wide variety of crystal filters from 1 MHz up to 500 MHz in assorted customized bandwidth, selectivity and packages.
  • Phase and amplitude matched sets.
  • Flat group delay with excellent selectivity.
  • Third order intermodulation intercept point of + 30 dBm with in band input signal levels at 0.0 dBm.
  • 70 MHz crystal filters 1.1 MHz BW. Low loss.
  • Standard 10.7 MHz, 21.4 MHz , 45.0 MHz, 70 MHz two pole monolythic crystal filters.
  • m-derived crystal filters for steep selectivity.
  • Single sideband crystal filters.
  • Notch filters Wide BW-steep/deep notch.
  • Up to 250 MHz
  • Group delay equalized with excellent selectivity.
  • Low pass , high pass , band rejects along with band pass version available.
  • We also have resources to make helical resonators, filters. Helical resonator filters are used where the crystal filters are not practical to make and the requirements are too narrow for L/C filters.
